On April 17, 2025, the Graduate Institute of International Security (GIIS, INDAC, ROC NDU) invited Mr. Matej Šimalčík, the Executive Director of the Central European Institute of Asian Studies in Slovakia. The audience thoroughly enjoyed his lecture, titled “EU-Taiwan Relations in a Volatile World: Trump 2.0 and Shifting Global Security”. Mr. Šimalčík offered insightful perspectives and engaged actively with the audience, resulting in productive discussions that greatly benefited everyone in attendance.
