GISS undergoes educational assessment to ensure and continuously improve curriculum development, pedagogical innovation, and student academic outcomes; provide feedback on syllabi planning, course development, and overall improvement of the educational environment; and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of program implementation and related efforts.

GISS has passed all prior educational assessments. In response to the implementation of the third educational assessment on November 30, a work team has been established during the process of the preparation. Military faculty and administration staff in the work team will lead graduate students to prepare for the assessment, report the progress on the institute meeting once a month and campus meeting in March, June, September, and December, so as to seek advice from experts in the field and make improvements in accordance with the timing of each assessment.

During the process, we have proved ourselves to be able to conduct a self-assessment of the objectives, analyze and review of the result through the institute meeting and curriculum planning committee, and formulate specific improvement measures and complementary solutions to serve as a guideline for educational goals, schooling strategies, curriculum planning, student recruitment, and faculty appointment.
