To strengthen the academic research capacity of national security and strategic studies, and to cultivate outstanding military personnel in the field of international security and negotiation, NDU established the College of International and National Defense Affairs, INDAC, and the Graduate Institute of International Security, GIIS, on January 1, 2022, with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

At the same time, GISS was assigned from War College to the newly established INDAC. Under INDAC, we will conduct academic exchanges with universities and think tanks in the United States, Japan, Korea, India, Australia, Singapore, and other relevant countries through a variety of programs. We also plan to invite scholars from well-known think tanks and academic institutions from abroad to conduct research at our university and serve as visiting faculty members, so as to cultivate military leaders and professionals with military professions and skills. It is believed that this will enhance the research capacity and reputation of INDAC in the domestic and international military studies.
