On February 18, 2025, the Graduate Institute of International Security (GIIS, INDAC, ROC NDU), led by Director Yau, attended an international conference at the Liang Kuo Shu International Conference Hall of National Taiwan University (NTU). The event was jointly organized by the Center for China Studies at NTU, the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, the Asia-Pacific Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The conference, themed "Regional Security in the Indo-Pacific: Dialogues Among Canada, Taiwan, and Regional Partners," featured insightful discussions that greatly benefited the participating faculty and students.
