On Oct 13 2022, GIIS invited Mr. Yanez from Venezuela to give a presentation. He served as a member of the Venezuelan National Assembly and also a member of the South African Council. He is a member of the Common Market Parliament of the Republic of China and currently serves as the vice-chairman and committee member of many government organizations.
Through his presentation, the students were able to have a full grasp of Venezuela's political situation and how domestic leaders dealt with the conflicts. But, apart from that, the speech also contained the overall condition of geopolitics in South America.
