The 12th "International Civilian & Military Joint Crisis Game" concluded successfully yesterday. Lieutenant Wang, a student of the Institute of Political Science at National Defense University, said that by using the computerized chess exercise system for crisis decision-making, she was able to consider the seven major aspects of national policy decision-making and governance, such as crisis management, budget control and defense policy. Through exchanges with teachers and students from private schools, not only did she re-examine the current threat from China with a systematic mindset, but also learn a broader international perspective and crisis management approach.

Lieutenant Wang also said, during the process of chess rehearsal, trainees have to analyze the maximum profit and loss ratio to make decisions under the limited time and resources. In addition to coordinating the different opinions of team members, they also have to take the risks into consideration to make the best decision.

Lin, Hong-Xuan, a graduate student of the Institute of International Politics at National Chung Hsing University, emphasized that the exchange with experts and scholars from various countries and the joint military chess exercises have revealed that the relationship with our neighboring countries is crucial to regional peace and stability.

Therefore, the continued implementation of international strategic communications and the deepening of links with the Democratic Alliance countries are indispensable elements for our country to face the increasingly serious threat of hostility from the Chinese Communist Party.
